To turn OneTouch Select Plus Flex meter on, press OK button and hold until the start-up test screen appears. Once the device is on, release OK button. You can also turn the meter on by inserting a OneTouch Select Plus test strip.
Then use the lancing device to prick the finger and obtain a small blood sample.
Keep your finger extended and steady, move the meter and test OneTouch Select Plus Test Strip towards the blood drop. Gently touch the channel to the edge of the blood drop. Wait for the confirmation window to fill completely, and the meter displays the blood glucose level within seconds.
